So 2013 is coming to a close, its time for some brief reflection on the year and what were my most popular shots for sale so far in my photographic journey. All in all it was a good year for my photography, my hard drive has roughly one third of a terabyte in raw images and edits for 2013.
I got some great shots earlier on in the year from Malibu and the San Pedro woody show. Started my adventures with my newest camera the Leica M9, and towards the end of the year one of my shots appeared in the LA Times. I also got some great shots down on the beaches here in Southern California as the weather headed in fall and winter.
Here are my top ten selling images of the year.

Number 10 – Santa Monica Sunset #1
Taken one chilly evening out on the beach in Santa Monica, California in March 2010. Canon 5D | 17-40mm f4L
Number 9 – Surf Rider
This shot which was taken in San Pedro, California was featured on the LA Times website, Leica M9 35mm Summicron.
Number 8 – Bombay Beach
Taken out on the shores of the Salton Sea, California in 2010, this image has proved more popular in 2013. Canon 5D | 17-40mm f4L
Number 7 – Ventura Panorama
This image was taken on the northern end of Ventura beach in October 2012. Canon 5DmkIII | 17-40mm f4L | 7 shots stitched.
Number 6 – Classic Car Interior
Another one from the LA Woody show in 2013. Leica M9 | 35mm Summicron.
Number 5 – Downtown LA Freeway
Downtown Los Angeles from the 4th street overpass, 110 Freeway. Canon 5DmkIII | 17-40mm f4L.
Number 4 – Malibu Sunset
Taken in early 2013 out on El Matador state beach, Malibu, California. Canon 5DmkIII | 17-40mm f4L | Singh-Ray Gold n Blue filter.

Taken in 2008 this shot is still on of my most popular. Canon 5D | 17-40mm | 3shot HDR.
Number 1 – Downtown Los Angeles Skyline
After 7 years this image still proves to be my most popular. Taken from the 6th street bridge, looking West towards downtown LA at sunset, it felt like an eternity waiting for a moment without cars in the way. A 3shot HDR taken with a Canon 400D | 17-40mm f4L.
